It’s been a life long dream of mine to create a beautiful bridal venue with extensive and varied inventory, coupled with a dedicated and talented team, that allows every New England bride the experience of having her tastes represented and her expectations of exceptional personal service exceeded. It’s my goal to ensure that every bride leaves here happy, excited and feels that they were so well taken care of by the staff. This store is my dream come true, it’s my happily ever after.

Juhree

I started here 12 years ago as a bridal consultant and fell in love with making brides happy. It is such a special moment when a bride finds her gown, and it is so rewarding that we can be part of making that happen. Now as the manager, I want to make sure that all of our consultants have the knowledge and passion that I do, and that each bride has the memorable experience that they deserve. The one thing that all brides should remember is that finding your gown is not really a decision – it’s a feeling…so trust your gut!

I find if my brides come into the appointment with an open mind they are usually shocked at what they can accomplish. The two most common phrases that we hear around the salon are “I never thought I would end up with a dress like this!” and “I thought finding a dress would be so much harder!” Finding your wedding gown is supposed to be a memorable, happy experience and I try to give every bride the experience they deserve. And just wait until we start accessorizing: the veils, headbands, statement earrings and shoes – get excited!

I am absolutely in love with the products I sell. I think these gowns are works of art. I genuinely care about making each and every one of my brides look and feel more beautiful than on any other day and respect that it is a personal decision. I aim to make each bride’s experience relaxed, fun, and all about her!

I love the chance to meet awesome new clients and work with great people. I really enjoy getting to know my clients – the best way to find a person’s style is to know their personality. I tell my clients to try on styles that they may not pick out themselves because you never know unless you try it! My favorite thing about working here is being a small part of the most important day in a bride’s life!

I love working with our clients, really listening to their needs and helping them feel beautiful! I once had a plus-sized bride who had chosen a dress from a catalogue. When she found a dress here that we could get for her she just cried - happy tears. We got beautiful photos from her wedding with a note about how happy she was that she came to Madeleine’s Daughter.  In fact our back office is filled with notes like that. It makes us all so proud.

When I meet my clients for the first time I try to find out what truly defines her fashion personality and what will give her the biggest “wow” factor.  It’s wonderful to be able to connect with people at such an intimate time in their life. I once had a bride who carried around a photo of a dress with her for years. Although it was out of her budget we were able to sell her the sample from stock and have it altered to fit her – she and her mom (and I) were all in tears! I tell my clients that THEY make the dress.

I love getting to know my brides and what they are looking for. A bride came in with a particular dress in mind – as soon as she put it on and stepped on the pedestal she turned bright red and exclaimed, “This is it!! Its totally it!!” That totally makes my day. I love making their dreams become reality!

I love working in the bridal industry - every day is different. I make sure my appointments feel friendly, and laid back. It can be so stressful for the bride to select a wedding gown – but we want it to be fun! My favorite accessory these days are those beautiful headpieces that are flowery or have feathers on them – they are just stunning!

In my appointments I try and find out as much as I can about the bride, her fiancé and family and what she is looking for in a dress. By getting to know my brides, I can help them achieve the look they are searching for on their wedding day.
